Thank you for taking an interest in my work! I’m currently accepting commissions in the categories below on a “first come” basis.
If you see something that interests you, please contact me at iworkbystarlight@gmail.com with the subject line as “COMISSION INQUIRY.” Include a brief description of the work you’re looking for, and any relevant images you already have to help me get the clearest idea. If you would like to request services based on my portfolio and which are not listed here, please use subject line “TAILORED COMISSION INQUIRY.”
Once we agree upon a plan for your commission, I request all payment through PayPal upfront. I am unable to accept payments in installments at this time.
2D Character Design
Have a TTRPG character you’d like to realize? Someone from a book you’re writing? I can help you visualize them! Character design sheets can be purchased in either a Portrait (bust) or Full (entire body). This option is perfect for realizing a character in a simple environment, and relies on clear, detailed character references.

If your character is particularly complex, I may include an “add on” fee. If you would like to add a familiar/pet, extra weapons, elaborate wings or dynamic posing, you may request the “add on” fee upfront. If you’d like your character posed and interacting with a complex environment, please see my “Splash/Rendered Art” offering instead.
Multiple characters may be commissioned at the same time, but each character is priced individually. For example, a full body image with two characters and no add on’s would be 300$.
2D Splash/Rendered Art
This offering is for anyone looking to have a fully rendered image of a location and one or more characters. Composition, lighting, poses, settings, and more are up for discussion, and the commission process includes review at several key phases in the production pipeline: thumbnails, sketch, first pass.
All splash/rendered art consists of AT LEAST one subject character and a simple background.
What I need from you:

Pricing for these pieces is tailored to the Indvidual commission, but can be broken down as follows:

“Simple” Background (ex: meadow, small interior, ocean, space-scape) + $150 *

“Complex” Background (ex: busy spaceport, cathedrals, city square, full ship) + $250

Subject Character + $170 per humanoid *, $70 per small creature

Background Character + $90

Magical effects and/or lighting effects + $50
* denotes mandatory base selections for commission
If your idea is particularly complex, you request multiple revisions, or you change your initial concept, I reserve the right to adjust pricing as needed and pause progress until the adjusted fee is delivered.
